The annual influenza season is underway, and the New York State Department of Health advises the public to be aware of health risks in the upcoming months. The department mandated that all unvaccinated health care employees wear masks to help stop the spread of the flu virus. Unvaccinated visitors to all health care facilities are asked to wear masks, as well.
